Memories are in constant flux. They undergo alterations—being deleted, exaggerated, or condensed—creating new memories through transformation from the past to the present. The images within our memories are a fusion of traces from past experiences and the current consciousness recalling that past, constituting an act of creation in themselves.
In this work, the reenacted past within the process of reconstructing memories functions anew as a fresh present. Ultimately, only repetitive reenactments exist without a complete memory.
